Client's Wants and Needs
Zoomies is a clothing brand for dogs so it needs to be cool, playful, and quirky like dogs! The colors should be poppy, but not too loud. The brand should fun and different. There needs to be a dog on his 'zoomies' somewhere in the branding. Just has to! Dog owners should want to have some stylish doggos!
It all starts with creating a logo for Zoomies. Since they are a company that designs clothing for dogs and dogs are playful and just so cute; I took those characteristics with me when trying out many ideas.
I landed on the main logo showcasing a illustrated dog running/leaping due to his "zoomies" (a term to normally describe the boost of energy dogs get normally around the nighttime that makes them run all around the house!). I placed the letters of "zoom" in Zoomies to be up and around the top of the dog to not only be nicely placed around his head and tail, but to act as if he ran through the word; disrupting the straight line it was in.

The second logo was focused more on the slogan/tagline for the company. I used a circle due to them being a more friendly shape and the repeating of the words captures your attention. I also love the play on the dog term Bow-Wow (inside the inner circle) to be an expression to their stylist clothes.

Now I started on some patterns that could be used for the packaging or clothes that the doggie models could show off.
The patterns and logo design is where I started developing my color palette as well. I went for colors that were earthy with the greens and browns, but adding in the blue and purple gave it a more eye catching color combo.

Here is where the fun part comes in!

Now we are showing how a box would come to your doorstep if your ordered something online from Zoomies.com and a close up of the tags that are on all the clothing. Each tag is special with its own type of dog in their own color sweater that lets you quickly identity the size of each garment.

Lastly, we get a look of their online shop/site where you see them promoting their new virtual try on tool and an ad exclaiming the added perks of free goodies on their birthday if you sign up.
